We are so excited to see this film continue its festival journey and connect with new audiences through the independent film community.

The Last Eight tells the story of the final eight hours before a life-size pirate ship, built by thousands of hands, takes to the streets as part of the Rose Parade. It’s a story about community, creativity, dedication and the people who come together to build something bigger than themselves.
This film has been such a labor of love, and every official selection means so much to our entire team. From production through post-production, every person who contributed brought their talent, time and passion to the project, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we created together.
A huge thank you to Highland Park Independent Film Festival for selecting The Last Eight and supporting independent filmmakers and documentary storytelling. We can’t wait to share our film with the Highland Park community! ❤️

🏆 OFFICIAL SELECTION — LUNENBURG DOC FEST 🎬
Jurassic Spud Productions are proud to announce that THE LAST EIGHT has been officially selected for the Lunenburg Doc Fest, where the film will make its Canadian Premiere.
This screening feels especially meaningful. Lunenburg is where the inspiration for The Last Eight began, making it incredibly special to bring the finished film back to the community and place that helped inspire its journey.
Director Bryanna Reynolds will be traveling to Lunenburg to attend the festival and will also take part in a special Q&A following the screening alongside fellow filmmaker Wanda Nolan.

Jurassic Spud Productions are proud to announce that THE LAST EIGHT has been officially selected for the Angeles Documentary Film Festival in Hollywood, where the film will make its WORLD PREMIERE on August 30th at The Broadwater.
This is a huge milestone for our independent documentary, and I’m honored to have the film’s first audience be right here in Los Angeles.
